Job Summary:
House of Visuals is looking for a Videographer to capture high-quality video content for a variety of projects, including social media, branded content, commercials, and event coverage. This role is ideal for a hands-on creative who can shoot, adapt, and deliver engaging visuals while working efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
As a Videographer at HOV, you’ll be responsible for operating cameras, setting up lighting, capturing dynamic footage, and ensuring high-quality visuals that align with our brand’s storytelling style. If you have technical skills, a creative eye, and a passion for video production, we want you on our team!
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Film high-quality video content across various formats, including commercials, social media clips, and live events.
Operate professional cameras and gear (Sony, Blackmagic, Canon, etc.) to capture cinematic visuals.
Set up and adjust lighting equipment to create a visually appealing look.
Capture both scripted and candid moments while adapting to different filming conditions.
Work closely with the creative team to develop shot lists, frame compositions, and visual concepts.
Ensure video footage is properly exposed, framed, and in focus.
Assist in basic audio recording, including mic setup and sound monitoring.
Stay up to date with new filming techniques, trends, and equipment advancements.
Experience/Knowledge Required:
Proficiency in camera operation (Sony FX series, Blackmagic, Canon C-series, or similar).
Basic understanding of lighting techniques for video production.
Familiarity with audio recording (lapel mics, shotgun mics, external recorders).
Strong sense of composition, movement, and shot framing.
Ability to adapt quickly to different filming environments and creative needs.
Bonus: Experience with drone videography, gimbals, or live event filming.
