Post-Production Editor

Job Summary:
House of Visuals is looking for a Post-Production Editor to bring our creative projects to life through expert video editing, color grading, and sound design. This role requires a keen eye for storytelling, an obsession with detail, and the ability to transform raw footage into high-quality, visually compelling content. Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Edit video content with a strong sense of pacing, emotion, and storytelling. 
- Color grade and enhance footage to match the desired tone and aesthetic. 
- Mix and sync audio, including voiceovers, music, and sound effects. 
- Work closely with cinematographers and directors to bring their vision to life. 
- Optimize content for different platforms (social media, web, commercial use). 
- Maintain project organization, file management, and backup workflows. 
- Stay up to date with the latest editing trends, software updates, and industry techniques. 
Experience/Knowledge Required:
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects & DaVinci Resolve. 
- Experience in color correction, audio mixing, and motion graphics. 
- Strong understanding of pacing, framing, and storytelling in video editing. 
- Ability to handle tight deadlines and fast turnarounds without sacrificing quality. 
- Experience working with high-resolution footage and multi-camera setups. 
- Bonus: Familiarity with VFX, 3D motion, and advanced transitions.
